# About Team

We are a team of two friends which have been working together for 2 years now and here we will tell you about our expirience, interests and skills

Ray Gan — Product Engineer

I’m a product-focused engineer with a multidisciplinary background and a strong belief in building solutions that directly address user needs. My role within EagleScout spans across identifying core problems, designing practical solutions, and delivering robust digital products — whether that involves frontend, backend, or cross-functional collaboration.

Over the past few years, I’ve gained experience across different environments:

* **\~1 year** at a digital agency, working with a variety of client projects under tight deadlines
* **\~2 years** in an early-stage startup, where speed, ownership, and versatility were essential
* Currently contributing to a **digital bank**, helping shape scalable, customer-facing solutions in a highly regulated space

My primary strengths include:

* **Backend for frontend (BFF)** patterns and architecture
* A broad familiarity with **developer tooling**, allowing me to move quickly and make informed decisions across the stack
* Proactive **research & development** to find or prototype the right technical solution for each challenge
* A continuous drive to **automate processes** and reduce inefficiencies
* Strong **business context awareness**, enabling me to prioritize work based on actual impact rather than technical novelty
* Clear **communication** of both technical and non-technical ideas to stakeholders

While I bring a diverse skill set, I am actively growing in areas such as:

* **Scalable system design**
* **Observability and monitoring tools** (e.g. Sentry, Datadog)
* **Full-featured backend systems**
* **Micro-interactions & web animations**
* **Cloud infrastructure** (e.g. AWS)
* Working with **databases beyond PostgreSQL**

At EagleScout, I aim to contribute by building resilient, useful tools that empower users to navigate the Web3 ecosystem with greater confidence. I believe in solving real problems with thoughtful design, clean implementation, and a relentless focus on the user.

Ashley — Product Designer

Hi! I’m the designer behind EagleScout — I shape how our project looks, feels, and communicates with you.

Design for me is more than just making things pretty — it’s about clarity, intention, and emotion. I believe that even the most complex tools (yes, even in crypto!) should feel simple, friendly, and intuitive.

At 20, I’m still early in my journey, but I put my whole heart into what I create. From interfaces to icons, from colors to micro-moments — I try to make every detail meaningful. I want people to not just *use* EagleScout, but to *enjoy* the experience.

Working with such a driven team pushes me to grow every day, and I’m excited to keep learning, building, and designing tools that make Web3 a little more human.
